August 5 & 6 9:30 am - 3:00 pm Learn to share in a way that is effective and powerful. In this course, participants will: -Develop ways to incorporate creativity to improve audience engagement -Explore using creative sources to frame your message -Discover how to identify the target audience (group vs. 1:1) -Review strategies for time management of storytelling based on setting and audience -Identify boundaries involving questions and self-disclosure -Examine strategies of cultural awareness in the application of your story -Practice maintaining advocacy messages through a story -Explore the use of media and other mediums to illustrate and share your recovery story 10 hours (NYCB ASAP Approved)
