Service Description
Peer Learning Collaborative Format: The Peer Learning Collaboratives (PLC) occur in a safe, supportive, nurturing, and professional environment. The Peer Learning Collaborative agenda is peer-led and established by participants. The focus can be Theme-centered (general skill development for all participants), Case-Centered (exploration of specific Coach-Client interactions), or Work-centered (highlighting relevant issues related to the work environment). At each session, there will be themed break-out rooms as well as a general discussion or educational topic in the main room. Participation in this collaborative Learning Collaborative will support you in: -Enhancing your general Recovery Coaching/Peer Advocate skills that enrich your professional development. -Adding effective and evidence-based tools to your professional toolbox. -Strengthening your professional and personal boundaries. -Augmenting your ability to advocate for your clients. -Identifying and amplifying your unique personal and professional strengths. -Strengthening your ability to compassionately engage your clients in a strength-based conversation that honors their definition of recovery. -Successfully and professionally negotiating the system you work in while remaining focused on Staying in Your Lane.
